Night of despair

All doors shut,
All windows closed.
It's all dark inside,
It's all night around.
I feel I'm trapped,
And I see no way out.
I feel like I'm dying...
Being hopeless and helpless
In this pit of darkness.
But I keep saying myself...
When is my daybreak going to come?
When is this night going to be over?
When will this darkness turn to light?
When is that day going to be???
